Joe and I have quickly figured out that moving with three kids is going to be a challenge, to say the least. So, we have accepted a very gracious offer for our big two kids to go with Joe's parents and head off to Phoenix for the Holiday Break!!! First off, who wouldn't want to go on vacation and two, who wouldn't want to go see the Iowa Hawkeye's play in a bowl game while on vacation?
The kids are super excited to be heading on vacation but sad too as they know when they leave they will be saying good-bye to the only life they remember and know. They have to say good-bye to every one at school and know that when they return from vacation they will be starting at a new school the next day and be in a whole new house they have only seen one time. Talk about a challenge on our hands...however, we know God will help us figure out how to handle it all and help the kids be as successful as possible.
So, what about Ashlyn you ask? She will continue to attend daycare (thank you Jill and Michelle) during the week and then when we are actually moving my mom has offered to take her for us for a few days so we can focus on the task at hand and not the crazy two year old who has her own agenda!!
